IT’S A NEW HALF TERM – TAKE A LOOK AT WHATS HAPPENING AT THE TOYHOUSE CENTRE
Our November-December timetable is now available and there are a few changes, so please take a look:
- Monday 10-11.30 the very popular Baby Sensory Rhyme Time will now be run by Mumtaz, who many of you would have met over the last few weeks of term.
- Story Songs and Rhymes remain 1.30-2.30 on Monday afternoon
- All day Tuesday’s will now see the Mellow Babies course, if you have a child 6mths to 2yrs and want to know more, contact us quickly as the course starts 12th November
- On Wednesday Invitation to Play has now moved to 10-11.30 and Mellow Bumps plus to 2-3pm
- Wednesday will also see the next Baby Massage course starting 13th November 12.15-1.15 APPLY NOW
- Thursday is unchanged with the new Cook Community & Culture course starting 14th November and Afia’s Drop in stay & Play 1.30-3pm
The Toyhouse Centre remains closed on a Friday

STORIES, SONGS & RHYMES New funding means we are now able to hold our regular Story, Songs & Rhyme session every Monday 1.30-2.30 from 9th September. Numbers will be limited to 12 families.
EARLY YEARS ACTIVE PLAY at Mile End Play Pavilion Locksley St E14 7EJ re-start on Monday 16th September – running each Monday & Wednesday 10-11.30am. just turn up, no booking required
- Cook & Community courses are great fun, a way to meet new people and learn about food from other communities and cultures. a new 5 week course starts each half term and runs 10-12 THURSDAY’s. booking required
- The Thursday afternoon Drop-In with Toy Library continues 1.30-3 each week and a new Stay & Play will open on Tuesday morning 10.30-11.30 for the first half of term
- Mellow Bumps is a 6 session course for expectant mums. A new course will run in the September for those expecting their babies from October onward. If you want more info, just email or call Tugela 02079877399 or info@toyhouse.org.uk.
- Mellow Babies our in depth parenting course which runs for 14 weeks every Thursday in term time, is now well underway. A new course will start in the Autumn and we are taking applications for this now

The Toyhouse Christmas Christmas and New Year closure will take place from 5pm Tuesday 19th December, re-opening on Wednesday 3rd January 2024. NEW COURSE: We are about to start our new COOK, COMMUNITY & CULTURE. This is a fun interactive course for parents and their pre-school children and we welcome people over 50 from the local community to join the course, enabling everyone to learn more about the various generations and cultures in Tower Hamlets.
